Takes a while to open up but when it does! Ripe cherries and mulch. Long finish. Still young.

Deep red color. Coca Cola slurpee on the initial nose. Decanted for about 30 minutes. "Heavy" Pinot. It is Pinot like, but not. Dark red berries. Tart finish.

Great stuff. Though this was a bit more fruit forward than the '12 which seemed to have more depth and a longer finish. Of course this '13 needs a little time so I'll be sure to check back in a few years.

Plummy, big and lush. Full-bodied, nose of plum, cherry and some black tea. Sublime with some grilled octopus, just enough acidity to make it all sing. Needs another year+.
