Whitehall Lane
Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Had another bottle, still has a punch of dark fruit aromas, mocha and mineral. The palate shows blackberry and plum with toasty oak. The 4 grape blend adds complexity to the wine. 2012 was an ideal growing season. Aged for 18 months in French and American oak. I had this 7 mos. ago, still young, but tannins softened. The finish was well balanced with good acidity and a nice mineral edge. This wine should continue to age well. A great value. I have a few more bottles that I will keep opening, check in 6 mos.

May 13th, 2017A friend came to my house and gifted me this wine - I was afraid to try - I tried and I am surprised - I like it but not recommending to purchase for believe there are others for same price point I like better - yet I do it is big and bold but the heat off this is a little surprising so cannot say beautiful - I can say if out and offered please partake as it will produce a smile 😀
Also don't be afraid to try new things for once in a while you might just find a great one and keeper - hope everyone has a great Friday night and stay warm

Deep red and packed a powerful punch of dark fruit aromas with mocha and mineral. The palate shows ripe blackberries and plums, with toasty oak, that the 4 grape blend adds complexity to the wine. The 2012 was an ideal growing season. The wine was aged for 18 months in French and American oak. I had this 6 months ago and, although young, had approachable fine tannins. The finish was well balanced with good acidity and a nice mineral edge. This wine should age well for a decade. A great value.
