What a Friday group tasting put on by Dan! Killer wines. 1 sparkler, 3 whites, 5 reds, 1 dessert. All blind.

I pegged this as a Peter Michael chard. More mineral driven than the first two. Lighter, and the oak was substantially more backseat than the others. Very nice chard.

If there is a notion that Cali wines are amped up old world wines, this one shows that off in the best possible away. Abundant acid, fruit and mineral all in balance. I’d order it again for sure

Blue cheese, oak, acid and amazing green apples

Subtle nose of wet stone,, lemon, vanilla, and oak. Bright fruit with a balanced palate

Full bodied. Fruit sort of a tart berry with nice acid. Ctrus aftertaste.

Pineapple Express. Too rich for me 🙁
