Wittmann
Rotwein Trocken Spätburgunder

The basic Pinot offering from Wittmann. This beats out lots of entry level stuff from France and the US imo, and is far cheaper. I think German Pinot is where the best qpr is for me right now. Raspberry, cherry, violets, forest floor on the nose; more cherry and raspberry on the palate; cranberry also; good balance of acidity, fruit, and tannin; decent length. A balanced wine if not overly complex.
