Wölffer Estate
Estate Selection Rosé Blend
Tried again. An American Winery with Classic European Traditions in Sagaponack, New York, 55-acres in the heart of the Hamptons (Long Island). A pricey L.I. wine that lackes depth and taste. Not sure of the grapes but tastes like a blend of a bunch including Riesling which exudes an oily like character. Not well balanced. Pass on this one. Tasting Sample

May 28th, 2018My first Long Island, NY wine and it was surprisingly damn good. Makes me want to grab a case and spend a week in the Hamptons. Thank you @Carl Fischer

May 12th, 2018Medium to full in body. Very fresh with slight creaminess to the palate and notes of peach and stone fruit. Mineral finish. Some perceived sweetness.
