Haven’t posted on here in a long time :( We haven’t been drinking much wine (or any alcohol rly) but this bottle put us right back into it! Super light, dry, fresh and (Luna thinks has floral taste). Great wine! — 3 months ago
Hugely impressive as always. The fruit on the nose is darker but there is a wonderful savoury/spicy note which also carries through on the palate. Tannins are fine, almost imperceptible but grip and length are created by the dark sour cherry spice that dominates the mid palate and balances the beautiful pure fruit. Silky texture and concentration. Super long and very fine. — 6 months ago
Dog Point Vineyard combines experience of Ivan and Margaret Sutherland & James and Wendy Healy. Ivan and James met while working at Cloudy Bay Vineyards. Light straw with typical SB aromas adding a touch of floral mineral notes. On the palate flavors of melon and grapefruit with citrus and honeysuckle notes, generous acidity, great mouthfeel with long finish ending with a salty spice character. Exceptional wine! — a month ago
Color: actually copper like, amber, orange like the setting sun
Aroma: light light apricot, a bit of brown sugar
Tasting Notes: super well balanced, honey, caramel, stone fruit (apricot)
Texture: slight twirl of tannins and acidity but in a nice congruence, a nice balance , bouncy texture, like drinking clouds of sunset — mouthwatering — 2 years ago

Barrel-fermented, pale lemon color, aromas of stone and tropical fruit with citrus, honeysuckle and flinty notes. On the palate flavors of peach, ripe apple, melon and lemon citrus, crisp with herb floral spice. Well balanced, lively acidity, long finish ending with fruit and wet stone character. Nice! — 5 months ago
Simple Merlot Lagrein Blau blend but I’m not sure why it’s so compelling. Delicious. — 3 years ago

I think the excitement for this every year is a bit overblown but it’s tasty stuff. Melon, strawberries, peach, and grapefruit. Quite dry and high acid. Keeps you coming back for another sip. Better than the flagship rose. — a month ago
