Deep purplish ruby red. Very dirty in the nose, earthy, leather, a little funky, forest floor, floral and dark cherries. Well balanced acidity with low to medium tannins (4.5/10). Super dry with flowers, leather, dark cherries and a touch of gravel. Long finish. Good food wine. Drink till 2020.

Inky, dense and pretty long. 2014 needs ample air as it shows a potentially troubling level of CO2. A good firm decant opens the nose a bit, but better on day two. Nose very mineral or particularly dense as Priorat or good St Chinon may be. Good value.

Very dark. Flavors of red fruit mixed with some berries, ripe apples and walnut taste that came to mind.
