Russian River Valley Old Vines Colombard

Lopsided with acid, but I don't care because I finally tried 100% Colombard. Very interesting. Thank you, Aziz!:)))

Grilled swordfish with parsley-grape relish, sautéed kohlrabi (including the greens), Japonica rice, caprese salad with avocado. This wine was perfect with each dish on the plate.

Obviously, a wine built to age.

Poached some salmon with a bit of this and drank the rest with our picnic supper on Shakespeare Hill. Nice result, thanks to the quality wine.

Perfect picnic wine with chicken salad with celery, dried apricots and cherries, and toasted pecans.

First California white I've had that doesn't taste like welchers. Bright. A little fruit. Seems like it has a lot of contact has that pleasant skin grape fruit.

A lot of citrus, grapefruit & lime. Highly acidic.
