Cabernet Shiraz is one of the great Aussie blends. The Signature is up there with Penfolds Bin 389 as one of the finest. The 2002 Signature is drinking at its peak but will go on. Notes of "Plum Cake" pipe tobacco but also leafy Cabernet Notes. Sweet Shiraz palate. An excellent wine. Very enjoyable. 18.5 Tried a supposedly good Cab Syrah in France last year as in Domaine de Trevallon 2004. It was not in the same league as the Yalumba. #aussiewine Tasted again on 3rd Jan 2017. Still a vibrant ruby colour. Lovely nose of cedar and berry. Sweet Pslate. No more cellaring required.

Mar 1st, 2015It’s been 15 years since I visited Yalumba, but this bottle was a great reminder of how excellent their wines are. Fully resolved and probably on peak plateau, this was just delightful. Brambly fruit, saddle, great terroir, yum.

Mar 22nd, 2020This was one of the highlights of the night in a star studded walk through the who's who and what's what if wines. Deep, complex full of thick rich berry overtones. Loved it
