Yves Cuilleron a Chavanay
La Petite Côte Condrieu Viognier

This was an amazing bottle. Very smooth. Hints of stone fruits, grass, honey and even slight taste of cotton candy. Very enjoyable.

Well-crafted wine that is today rather closed down. Shy aroma though the minerality and spice emerge with air and time on palate

Could do with more acidity. Gorgeous fruit but just a tad too fat for my liking

May 15th, 2015Beautiful dried flowers with a sense of waxy and flashy notes. Sunflower seeds, yellow Apple, Bosc pear, orange pith, lemon oil, spearmint. It's a very giving wine. Totally into it.

May 13th, 2015Ripe fruit here. Still possessing fine minerality though. Good acid and focus. Impressive length.

Rich, with lots of pungent tropical fruits, but with the backbone of savory meaty-ness (chicken stock, prosciutto) that makes Condrieu one of the worlds most particular wines. Fresh acid holds the richness together. Definitely not too oaky, as people are often saying about his wines.

Warming stone fruit nose, rich and quite honey'd, Muscat and a seam of vanilla pushing through the powerful floral notes. Floral and sweetly smoky in the mouth, low acid but not too cloying with relatively taught peach skin grip and finish.
