2006 vintage. Wow. What a nose on this wine. Full concentration, eminent nose, very complex, peppery, spicy, mulberries, some menthol, dark chocolate, and a leathery, horse tan aroma. Some earthy aromas, but not rustic by any means. On the palate, wonderful texture - silky and smooth. Great acidity. Medium tannin - becomes chalky after 15 seconds. Good concentrated finish. Very, very good. NB: with air, there's a rose / violet floral aroma developing. More blackcurrant creme, with farmyard shit aroma in the background. Lovely!
