Dry white Italian that is considered one their best. Pale gold in color and lots of citrus on the nose. Strong lemon in the palate with secondary peach with medium+ acidity very light in body. Great with my fish and asparagus dinner. — 4 years ago

A fine Barbera from Ca. Found it at Costco and apparently they are discovering some fine gems. — 9 years ago

We were looking for a good port and asking the other wineries in the area and they recommended this. Good port on its own but not as good as our favorite. — 9 years ago

A very nice balance of tanans and subtle fruit. 2013 bottle seems to have corrected some of the deficits from previous years. — 9 years ago

Drove down to the winery specifically to try their wine after I saw them rated by Wine Enthusiast as one of the worlds top 100 wines. (2012 Petite Petit 94 points)
I thought the 2013 Earthquake Petite Sirah was so good that I joined their club and brought home a case.

The winery is over the top to visit. Unfortunately, the wine is just a little over average. I bought this at Costco for $20 after a $30 tasting at the hill top winery. C'mon, Daou, be reasonable. — 9 years ago

What are you comparing to? $65 Napa wines that drink like $15?
