I can’t really taste anything anymore but I think this is pretty solid 🤷🏻♂️ — a month ago
Bright dense ripe long. A little shy on the nose and not tasting a ton of fruit initially. Much better after a couple hours. — a month ago
Carbonic Tempranillo from the foothills. I like this quite a bit. Saturated bright purple. Perfumed and bright, but sneaky depth and concentration. Beaujolais meets California with a twist. Might stash a few in the cellar and see how they progress. Has the stuffing. — 10 days ago
Dense and extracted, but definitely not overripe fruit. 12%. Very high acid. Beautiful medium body texture but kinda wonky on the fruit/acid side. Unbalanced. Doesn’t strike me as something further cellar time will sort out. — 17 days ago
Intensely mineral. Green apple. Faint petrol. Exactly what I want from a Grenache Gris/blanc. Pair with oysters. — a month ago
Clean, bright, pure. Tastes like eating a bowl of red berries in a Pacific Northwest pine forest.

Interesting wine. Light golden, a bit fleshy, but restrained salty/austere at the same time. A bit wooly/waxy. A bit oxidative? Zero chance you’d guess this an Albariño/Godello blend from the Sierra foothills. My mind actually went to Rhône. // edit: this improved significantly on day two. Could definitely taste the Albariño — 16 days ago

Nothing wrong with this at all, just not my preferred style. From the cool end of Russian River Valley, but doesn’t quite reach the heights of my preferred Sonoma Coast for Syrah. It is well-made and delicious and expensive tasting, if you like getting slapped in the face by your hookers. Big. Lots of fruit, enough structure and acid. Probably better in five years. Aint nobody got time for that. — 17 hours ago
