A delightful vintage — 3 months ago
Pepper, pepper, pepper and pepper with ripe blackberries and a meaty finish — 3 months ago
Heath bar, mocha, fresh tobacco, blue and black berries, jammed and ripe. Pretty hot. Not as peppery as I’d expect, really fruit forward and savory. Drank it over Scrabble, cubed steak with peppers and sweet potato fries. — 12 days ago
My first Ghemme Nebbiolo! Once it opened up it was like a rustic tomato sauce loaded up with dried oregano, almost sweet. Grippy but soft tannins. Ripe cherry and earth. Delicious. — 2 months ago

Spice, dried cherries, strawberries, potpourri, wet earth and gravel. Delightfully delicate. Would crush again, lightly chilled. — 4 months ago
Stolpman never fails! Downed this vintage with a meatball sub. Not overly grippy, the Sangiovese and Grenache do this wine wonders. Earthy berries, spice, and tar. Just delightful. — 15 days ago
Half destemmed half whole cluster, very interesting. Trippy, it’s so earthy and floral with subtle red fruit and zippy acid that it’s reminiscent of a Pinot noir but those grippy tannins ring true of Nebbiolo. Give me this and a nice fatty slab of duck breast please. Quite smooth already, I’d love to try this in a few years. — 2 months ago
Spice, cherry, forest floor, green tobacco. Pretty good finish. Definitely needs some air. — 4 months ago

This is, excuse me, a damn fine bottle of wine.
Worn leather, cigar smoke, and vanilla on the nose. Intense palate of overripe blackberry and cassis. Powerful but well integrated oak. Very long, complex finish.
Drank while watching a fan edit of Fire Walk With Me. Needs a solid decant. — 4 days ago
