Dark reddish purple. Raspberry and red plum on the inviting nose. Echoed on the medium full palate which adds a swirl of vanilla oak. Incredibly smooth for 15.2 abv (no burn at all), and the medium acidity is just enough for a good food wine. Classic California Zin. Enjoy now through 2026 with burgers and roasts.

Have had mixed experiences w Turley’s more entry level wines but this was nice enough w some steaks.

Deep ruby in color; black plum, blackberries, and strawberries on the nose; medium acidity; medium plus tannins; tastes just like it smells with some crushed gravel and a long finish.

Fairly simple with some dim cherries in the background but not very complex and a bit zingy. $28 purchased from the winery

The ‘21 Old Vines Zin drinks well right out of the gate. It’s dark red with bright edges, full of red berries, cassis and roses on the nose, and hits the palate with rich, rosy, plum notes along with minerality and nice tannins. All at a great price point.

10/2023. Bold, full of flavor and nice pepper. Paired well with the bone in NY Strip at Hall’s Chophouse. Would like to drink again in two years.
