Mulberries, damp earth, crushed rock, cool herb (tarragon?). Nice poise and balance, medium weight concentration. I don’t think 2017 was a great vintage, so bravo. — 3 years ago
A stunner! Expressive nose right out of the gate (mulberry, black raspberry, crushed rocks, smoke). Chiseled, concentrated and rich, on a mid-weight frame. Beautiful medium pink color. Persistent, fine/medium bead. A bottle (and a night) to remember. — 4 years ago
Strawberry leaf, white peach, and lime zest. Rich, creamy, yeasty notes of grilled bread. Vanilla. Nice mouthfeel, well balanced. Drinking this on the verge of the autumnal equinox, for which it seemed perfect. — 3 years ago
Eucalyptus, saddle leather, dried currants, autumn leaves, nostalgia. — 4 years ago
Paired this with handmade tagliatelle and a creamy rabbit ragu. Palate cleansing, lip smacking acidity, great food wine. — 4 years ago
Beautiful golden color. Nose of (well toasted) brioche slathered in honey butter. Star fruit and mace. Pear tart with vanilla custard and almond crust. Bead fell off rather quickly. — 3 years ago
Crème de cassis, violets, graphite, earth, and eucalyptus. Poised and lithe on the palate but with a core of pen ink-like texture. Opening up beautifully after a 2+ hour decant. 60/37/2/1%. — 4 years ago

Silky. Stemmy. Savory. Baking spice. Chocolate dust. Black cherry compote. Fresh tarragon. Sarsaparilla. Plus, beautiful branding and a woman winemaker. Love. — 4 years ago

Dried roses, Bing cherry, damp earth, baking spice. And that very Italian dusty/chalky smell, like a stone cold church basement. Sexy mouthfeel. Had with carbonara and guanciale. — a year ago
