Black berries and currants hit the sniffer first.
And they're there on the first sips as well, joined by calamata olives. Steadies and balances as it goes, and not without nuance is a plus; cinnamon dances in about midway. Just vague hints of bitterness here and there as soft glances of feathered hair, but nothing in any way grossly overt... Sweetness wends in substantially as it goes as well...

Relatively tame in the air at first.
Vibrations of tangerine on first sips.
Relatively uneventful throughout.

8.1

Unassuming, but pleasant Chuck's on hot asphalt with Dentyne stuck to the bottom beginning scent.
Starts off in the mouth still unassuming, but cilantro begins the play. And yes, plum starts to show up, but it's plum with cilantro on it. And then plumb with cilantro...and crab cakes. At the end it settles non-reticently into snap peas.

Carmel, vanilla, and white chocolate famial the waft in the beginning.
The family carries through on the first sips, with a little fruity, bubblegum as well.
Fruity quotient increases further in.
There are certainly better inexpensive bottles...

8.1

Very clean olfactorily at first.
Starts strong with only a hint of bitterness and strong raisin legs. Bitterness pervades substantially, though, as things move forward.

Mocha and plums saunter into the air first.
Dark chocolate subtlety accompanies on the first sips. Confections and fruit blend to share equal affections further in; also gets rounder and butterier as it goes. A touch of bitterness now and again, but nothing derailing. Much more complex than the price range would indicate.

8.1

Non-commital on first drafts to the air, but with vague hints of balsam.
However, very fruity on first sips. And yet opens quickly and starts shuffling berries with raisins.
Has a narrow window of peak flavor.

Clean, unpresumptiuous fruit on the nose. Leans forward with some expectation...
Tannins are unobtrusive in a good way with only a slight hint of grit. Begins to soften a bit in. A vague hint of caramel gently begins to wedge in next. Carmel melds sociently with mocha and chocolate to bring it to a close.

Very chocolately on the nose early on.
Auspiciously auspicious right from the start. Bursts early in with plumbs and raisins.
Yup.
