Agree it is a beast. Big floral and fruity nose. Vanilla notes. Long finish. Simply delicious.

Agree that wasn't a blow-the-mind wine that lived up to the occasion - but good, vibrant nose. Problem was the finish was flatter ( for the expected quality) and did not live up to expectation crated by the aroma or the vintage.

Great dinner, with great friends. Wine seemed fully integrated, mature, really delicious. Maybe near its very best at 16 years out.
