Who says village wines don't have longevity? At 26 years of age, this is vibrant and expressive, and more succulent than many Burgundies from this vintage. Delicious. — 10 years ago
This 1983 from an original disgorgement was terrific, showing a mature complexity yet still feeling lively and energetic. Perhaps not the grandest Dom Pérignon ever, but delicious and satisfying. — 7 years ago
Awesome, as always. One of the most original champagnes you'll ever taste. — 10 years ago
First release of Cédric Bouchard's Presle, from a pinot noir vineyard planted in 2007 with ten different rootstocks. This inaugural release is vintage 2010—it's concentrated in flavor and sleekly shaped, showing the exuberance of young vines. — 10 years ago
Still an infant, yet so good... — 7 years ago
Last chance for this cuvée! Bérêche is discontinuing it, and increasing production on the Brut Réserve. Fortunately, the Brut is also excellent. — 10 years ago
Another outstanding Chablis from a vintage that nobody thinks of. So much more focused, complex and expressive than the 1985 Vaillons, tasted side by side. — 10 years ago

This is so good. Lively, salty, with a waxy texture and a citrusy intensity reminiscent of preserved lemons. Just makes you want to drink more of it. — 7 years ago
