Excellent bubbly. Not at all hard to pick out the Pinot Noir influences. Rustic but fresh and zippy. Kudos to one of the best sparkling wines from Virginia. — 9 years ago
Brilliant Merlot. Mature cherry and blackberry with well-integrated oak and earth influence. Supple tannins and bold alcohol. — 9 years ago
Big fruit forward Zinfandel aged in Bourbon barrels after fermentation and then placed back in regular oak barrels before bottling. Very neat bourbon finish that's hot in the mouth with of but of caramel. More of an "experience" wine than anything else but good nonetheless. #zinfandel #bourbonbarrelaged — 9 years ago
This wine completely surprised me. With the limited out aging, I was sure it was past its prime. However, it drink quite nicely. I can only imagine this was a syrup and fruit bomb early on. But, this wine aged well. — 9 years ago
Quality juice. If you put this in a Chateaunuef-du-pape bottle you would fool everyone. — 10 years ago
Great Cab for the price! Balanced fruit, easy tannins, and the right amount of oak spice to make it fun. #cabernetsauvignon #cab #northcoast #chasinglions — 10 years ago
Whoa. Big. Drink now for big fruit, drink later for softer acidity and rounder tannins...either way you win! — 9 years ago
Undoubtedly one of the finest Argentinian wines we have ever had. Cabernet dominant blend from Mendoza that absolutely bursts from the bottle. Huge, but PERFECTLY integrated tannins support an astounding palate of red currants, mulled berries, and spiced vanilla coffee. 20+ second finish leaves you begging for more. Rated 91pts by Robert Parker years ago, this beauty is just now starting to really show off. 2 bottles for sale in the shop if we don't drink them first....#wine #vino #finewine #expensivewine #winecellar #goodwine #argentinawine #mendoza #mendozawine #robertparker #91pts #magnoliafoods #lynchburgva #lynchvegas #lynchburgliving #discoverlynchburg #ourlynchburg #downtownlynchburg #seevirginia #explorevirginia — 9 years ago
Undoubtedly the best Merlot I've ever had (yet). Smoky, dark, tannic, a bit boozy, blackberry, and amazing rich oak come through on this perfectly aged Merlot from Napa. Wow. — 10 years ago

10% Viognier, which I can only imagine was done to soften up otherwise brutally acidic and tannic Syrah from the vintage. However, it's expertly done and still manages to be big, bold, and 14.5% abv. Very floral and herbaceous nose of lilac, hibiscus, and plum. Coats the entire palate with big blackberry juice, smooth earthy oak, and chalky tannins. — 9 years ago
