This beats Abraxas for me. I never thought I’d have a better stout with hot peppers but this is amazing. The nose and front palate are smooth, clean, milk chocolate with vanilla and hint of spice. Not too sweet, then the back end habanero cuts through and you’re shocked at first, but ultimately it is the perfect complement and you’re left pondering how amazing these flavors meld together. One of the best. Love the chili pepper flavor with dark and milk chocolates. Cinnamon and vanilla are secondary. The spice is what sets this apart from other beers in this style. Needs no pairing. — 4 years ago
