Enjoying the 2010 in San Jose Del Cabo on the terrace. Life is good and so is this amazing wine! One of our absolute favorites. — 7 years ago
This Santa Cruz Mountains AVA trip in San Jose was so much fun. We got really lucky and booked both Ridge and Mount Eden on the same day. In my opinion they are the two best representations of wine produced on this AVA. Unique dirt, grape growing, wine making and history. — 8 years ago

This has such a nice... what I'm going to call'rural acidity'.
An unpasteurized delight. I wish I could drink this more often

As you start your walk through their redwoods, there is a stop to taste their Chardonnay. The walk is relaxing & beautiful. However, you could still smell the char in the air as you stroll. The fire came down the mountain to their property line. It was an on-site fire crew from San Jose, Ca that protected their property. When I left our visit, there was a strong smell of char in my shirt from the breeze blowing down the mountain that had burned above them.
Their 16 Chardonnay is good. It’s Napa/Sonoma classic in fruit profile and not crushed in new oak which is the way I prefer it. Green apple, lemon, lime, some pineapple, cream, medium backbone, limestone, grey volcanics, lilies, white flowers & jasmine. The acidity is quite refreshing with a nicely polished & not overdone finish. Wire to wire a pleasant Chardonnay.
Photos of; their main house out front where you approach the property, inside tasting salon area, outside branded bar and another vantage point of their woods behind their tasting room. — 6 years ago

Celebration to Queen and the late Freddie Mercury at The Grill on the Ally in San Jose Concert tomorrow night. The Bryant Family Cabernet blend is something to celebrate with. On the nose snaps with a dark blackberry and cherry fruit and lingers of veggie, spice and eucalyptus. Taste is full body with a rich fill of black cherry and plum and finishing with a chocolate gravel and vanilla taste. — 7 years ago

Ruby red with aromas of tobacco, plum, dark cherry, and spice notes. On the bud, it’s rich, luscious, and velvety. The tannins are nicely controlled . I would not hesitate in ordering the wine again. Went great with our dinner at Sage in San Jose del Cabo. — 5 months ago
