Lots of green notes. Green bell pepper, green herbs, and notes of unripe fruit. Very lush and 30 minutes presentation though, starting with the green notes in the front and rolling to a tart and warm finish. Round in the mouth but with just enough acid and tannins to provide good structure. — 6 years ago

Lovely sweet red fruits with barrel aging done right. Just a very balanced Bordeaux, mature enough tannins. In the background are left over Alfahores, brought over by my mother in law from Buenos Aires. Another true to type, non flashy import from Steep Hill. — 3 years ago
Just decanted it at Cabana Las Lila’s in Buenos Aires. Rich, complex wine. Looking forward to its roundness with some time in the air. — 6 years ago

Okay. We took a break from the Mendoza Malbec, Cab Franc and Cab Sauv by escaping to South Australia for the night drinking this awesome Shiraz we brought with us visiting the Ballard’s in Buenos Aires! Peppered blood! That came to mind drinking it. Ripe raspberry, deep dark cherry and dried figs drenched in earthy tannin and notes of clove. Great time! Had to ignore that look Tammy gave me when I poured the last little bit just in my glass for...you know... for convenience 😊 — 5 years ago

Enjoyed this montepulciano. Lots of bright berries. Pretty acidic but still a dry finish. Had on its own but should pair well with food. — 3 years ago
