An excellent Santa Cruz Mtn. producer. Huge value plucking their bottling’s on the secondary markets. I think I paid $35 for this one. You could push to 93 with the Bulgogi Pork. — a month ago
A tasting of nine Rhys Pinot Noirs from the 2008 & 2009 vintages. Jeff Brinkman, Rhys winemaker joined our group. This was my #1 with that smoked meat:umami character that I love. Note: (@Delectable does not list it as such but it is Sonoma Coast) — 4 years ago
We were so fortunate to have Jeff Brinkman, Rhys’ winemaker for the past 15 years, join our tasting of nine Rhys Syrahs from 2003 - 2013. Stew, smoke, meat, classic bret. I loved it, others not so much. — 4 years ago
Light gold color, a little nutty showing some age but with good acidity and minerality, it was showing very well but with ample life remaining. — 7 months ago
