From the collection. Wish I would have drank about six months ago, it’s started to mellow out a bit more than I expected. — a year ago
Bought this as an afterthought and quite pleased that I did. It's complex and rich, with blackcurrant/plum fruit, cedary oak and soft tannins all on the same page. Great value. — 3 years ago

Solid, well-made Cabernet Sauvignon. Strong and bold but not overwhelming. Deep, brooding fruit. Not remarkable but a reasonable purchase at $53. — 6 months ago
Best Chardonnay I’ve had though I’m not normally a fan. Argentina — 9 months ago

Garnet-tiled, murky, deep dress.Clos de Gat is an area of Judea in Israel. With two hours of aeration, the primary notes, generous very ripe and animal fruits mix well with the notes of aging and spices. We are not far from a Cornas or other wine from the North Rhône with the intensity of the Israeli sun. The notes of evolution go perfectly with the bouquet.

Decanted only 90 minutes, would have needed at least twice that. Aromas show a meaty side to start with, menthol, moving and getting more complex and aromatic with white pepper, dark fruits violets and herbs. The palate is powerful, full and dense, deep with lots of class, good length and with tannins that are not yet tamed and show a touch of rusticity and youth. A great bottle but a great bottle to be mostly, still needs 4-5 years. 93-94
93-94 — 4 years ago
