Hibiki Highball from the master at the Apollo. Been two years since I’ve been here but it felt like yesterday. Literally nothing has changed. Must stop if you are in Tokyo. Feel free to go to the bar Milo next door and have a drink of the “Mr Norm” bottle that I had to buy in order to get a drink. Keep in mind all of these places max out at 8 people. 2014 soon to be released. Get some, for it's their best iteration of Viognier. Whomever says Viognier struggles with acidity will reconsider their claim, cus it's p0pping with acid. The nose is heady, borderline intoxicating on its own. Meanwhile, the palate is exuberant with an exciting finish, each element jockeying to be noticed until you cNt resist another sip, no....drink. 2014 was actually a good vintage in Sicily contrary to the rest of Italy. A slightly cloudy Lemon yellow. On the palate light bodied and lemony with noticeable acid. Not as lush as the Grillo we had yesterday but I do like the grape. — 9 years ago
