Frutos secos, saúco, ciruela y pasas en el paladar. Excelente para acompañar con un asado. — 4 years ago
Big Raspberry bouquet to start. Let it open up for a little while. Life is good. Delicious with asado. — 7 years ago
Had with our Uruguayan asado feast. Paired excellently with woodfired meats and vegetables. Wine stands up on its own too if you like jam forward oaky red wines. Aroma is barrel oak, vanilla, spice and dark fruit pie. Taste is a jammy blast of rich dark fruit, assertive tannin, and a lingering balance between the two to finish. Highly recommend this wine and would try more tannat wines! — a year ago

Polished super Tuscan. No jagged edges, black fruits including black currants, blackberries & cassis both on nose & palate, probably spurred by the Cab Sauvignon. Quite substantial mouthfeel but not out of balance, & earthy, almost chalky finish so it’s Italian soul comes through. Preceded an Argentine Asado cooked by (Argentine) friends- imagine it would fit right in w the smoky, salty meats — a year ago
Excelente para el asado de los fines de semana. — 3 years ago
Stock photo, but shared with Argentinian friends over Asado- an Argentine BBQ- complete with a newly bought Argentine style grill. I hadn’t had this for years, & was surprised at the balance, restrained oak, &full, juicy mid palate. Drank after a Vaqueras red & matched the smokiness of the meat. — 5 years ago

This is a charming, medium bodied wine. Low tannins, crisp acidity and 13.5%abv. Lots of red fruit with cherry, strawberry and cranberry on nose and palate. At 7 years of age it’s still medium tiny in color but starting to show some lovely tertiary character with dried cherry, leather, forest floor and a touch of candied violet. This was enjoyable with grilled pollo asado. Very nice indeed. — 4 months ago
