Like all the Beckman wines this one is excellent. New vintage same great Syrah. Grippy tannins. Long finish. — 5 years ago
Excellent aged Nebbiolo from @Matthew Beckman — 6 years ago
My dessert wine for my annual CC hosting.
I’ve only had a handful of SQN dessert wines, as well as Kracher wines, so I was curious how this would show with 16yrs on it.
Almost amber colored in the glass. 100% marsanne. Honeyed peach and orange marmalade aromatics with sweet baking spices too. Decadent and viscous crème brûlée, orange roasted cashews, and toffee notes that while sweet, doesn’t come across as too sweet or intense. Not zippy, but not flabby either. No rush here. An absolute treat to enjoy. — 2 years ago
Stunning and years to go. Another holiday wine dinner gem, this one from @Matthew Beckman. — 5 years ago
While it also showed extremely youthful the ‘07 was on another level and IMO had shed more tannin than the ‘06. It was my last sip of the night and it was plush and beautiful and rounding out incredibly. Potential high 90’s wine in 10 years. Thank you @Matthew Beckman — 6 years ago

I’ve owed Delectable some posts for a while now....and we need community now more than ever and Delectable has always been a positive, supportive community...so I’m jumping back in. I’m about 300 wines behind but I’m going to work backward starting with the wines I’ve enjoyed the last few weeks during this period of relative isolation. I’m calling this series “Loving Wine in the Time of Corona” as a nod to my boy Gabriel Garcia Marquez who was also a big time wine guy......this bottle is from our first Zoom tasting with the local wine group @romo @Steve Anderson @Michael Meyer @Matthew Beckman @Vickie Beuerle @Dan Blackwell on 3/14. Pinot theme. The Meo was youthful and pure, so much depth, concentration and lively red fruit. Good times with great people. — 5 years ago
Bold racy red fruits. There is substance here. Thank you @Matthew Beckman — 6 years ago
