Peppery and smooth great drop — 6 years ago
This wine is somewhat of a unicorn being made from vines planted in 1868 believed to be the oldest Pinot Meunière vines still being used to make wine in the world. I decanted this wine but probably no need as there was zero sediment. Colour was a transparent light Ruby red. A palate of bright red cherries with a toffee note. Light to medium weight palate. Not as complex as an older example I once tried which was stunning and different. This has a long life ahead of it. This is the first of 3 and not ready yet. — 3 years ago
Shiraz is my favourite type of wine. I have enjoyed my fair share... This wine is definitely up there! Enjoying it at home with a dear friend. — 6 years ago

Awesome! Is this the best Foudre Ferment Rizza from Best’s to date? I think so. Impeccable balance and tremendous flavour intensity. — 4 years ago

Absolutely lovely cool climate Shiraz with just a little Viognier, the “LSV” stands for, I think, the first initial of the winemaker who made it, with the S for Shiraz and the “V” for Viognier, medium-long finish, not exported. — 2 years ago
