This wine is somewhat of a unicorn being made from vines planted in 1868 believed to be the oldest Pinot Meunière vines still being used to make wine in the world. I decanted this wine but probably no need as there was zero sediment. Colour was a transparent light Ruby red. A palate of bright red cherries with a toffee note. Light to medium weight palate. Not as complex as an older example I once tried which was stunning and different. This has a long life ahead of it. This is the first of 3 and not ready yet. — a year ago
Awesome! Is this the best Foudre Ferment Rizza from Best’s to date? I think so. Impeccable balance and tremendous flavour intensity. — 2 years ago
From kabinett wine bar in the 💯 block by #eastonpa free bridge, and so good!! Not sure why your app does not have Kabinett wine bar on its locations; need to add that for sure! — 14 days ago
Picked this up while visiting the winery this morning, brand new release, dark purple color, some spritz, but no real tannins so drinks beautifully tonight, balanced, solid finish, I’ve heard these age for quite some time, but I didn’t make it 6 hours since purchase!! 😎🙄😁 — 6 months ago

Meaty, charcuterie notes together with black and blue fruits. The palate is rich and savoury - full bodied on the earthy spectrum with ripe plum. Bests are an under the radar Gem in the Grampians. It should be a regular purchase particularly at the price. An average price of around $30. — 14 days ago
