Late Bloomer Grenache 2017

In magnum. Still one of my faves from Russ and always fun to tell the story (wine club gets to submit grade school photo and if you win, you get to be on every bottle for the vintage). lol. 100% Grenache from Paso. 15.8% ABV so drink responsibly. — 7 months ago

Dry Riesling Auten Vineyard 2019

Green mango, hint of jasmine essence, waxy bouquet. Really, really subtly lovely bouquet. Could smell for eons.

Slight effervescence. Mineral quality dancing with apricot fruit and bracing acidity gives this a welcome chewiness.

There’s something unrefined and natural about this that’s absolutely beautiful and earthy. It’s not trying to be anything it isn’t. It just is.

I love things like that, the true quality of itself. True, natural, earth, sunlight, tasty.
