This is the type of wine I really enjoy. Earthy, not too dry, not sweet. A little dry, but not to make you pucker, medium tannins, NOT fruit forward (thank god). It tastes like an Italian red wine. Served it with a bolognese-ish pasta. Worked well, very enjoyable. Sangiovese, merlot and petit verdot. — a month ago

Has a very slight green & stemmy note, olives. Ripe fruit. A little spicy. Medium body. Mineral and fairly tannic but really softens in the glass. Very well put together. — 5 years ago

It's a great blend. The initial sip was tart cherry which very quickly tapered into a dry finish. Really a lively and unexpected wine. I would definitely recommend. Reminded me of Piazzo Barbera a bit. — 6 years ago
