Just opening it and finding a perfect cork was already a feast. Just amazing Barolo evolving at every sip first intense and then opening up to free ita structure and consistence. Not giving it the max score because I had the luck to drink something better — 6 years ago
A light version of Nebbiolo from a broader regional appellation, Langhe. Pushing acidity and integrated tannins, with feast of red fruits mostly cherries and raspberries, undeniably red petal roses. It had some degree of earthy undertones combined with some subtle tarts. Juicy all the way with a decent finish. Casual and uncomplicated. Does the job on any palate looking for an affable red wine.
