The nose is a bit mute right now but I smell some almond, some cherry, a bit of leather (?) and there's a bit of heat coming up after a while. The palate is very delicate and rather smooth. I was anticipating a bit more dryness. Nice fruit along a strong acid backbone, very nice velvety touch on the sides, velvety tannins with a very gentle drying effect, very long finish with cherry and a bit of coffee underlined by these velvety, gently drying tannins. This is a bit surprising but pleasant. I would never have located it rightly blind. β 4 years ago

This is a very good Chianti, on the sweeter side, very berry like. I like this one. β 5 years ago
