A very nice wine. Beautifully aged — 10 months ago
Strawberry and a sour savoury note on the nose. High pitched red fruit with a slightly medicinal character. Good weight and concentration on the mid palate. Some wood spice. Solid without being showy. — 2 months ago
Not acidic taste, but strong, one of french secrets. Great with soft cheese and by itself. Much better comparing to Chardonnay (at least American) — 6 months ago
one of the better sancerres ive tried — 9 months ago
Founded in 1982 by Koerner and Joan Rombauer and sits on a tree covered knoll overlooking the Napa Valley, with caves that extend for over a mile. Pale lemon with aromas of stone and tropical fruit with sweet oak spice and floral scents. On the palate flavors of ripe peach, melon and apple, with vanilla spice, rich & creamy. Long finish, well balanced with acidity, ending with mineral notes — 2 years ago

See 4 previous notes on Delectable for the 2015 Primavera. This is my last bottle. The whole bunch stalky elements have toned down in the last few years. More balanced with the red fruits. Perhaps that was Steve Flamsteed’s plan and it needed to be cellared for at least 9 years.? — a month ago
