This Arianna Occhipinti 2010 Cerasuolo di Vittoria Classico Grotte Alte has a medium intensity of red fruits, some spices and offers good freshness. Made from 50% Nero d’Avola and 50% Frappato and left in the barrel for 4 years before release. Only 4,200 bottles produced. — a month ago
Slightly cloudy copper colour . Quite toasty coffee notes at the beginning . Slightly dried fruits, orange rind . On the palate quite round and generous , dried fruits , high acidity and extract , orange rind . Quite long and herbal , with some dried red fruits , roast almonds . This is intense and very interesting , will still age pretty well . Drink now and over the next 5 years. — 4 months ago

Fun and spritzy, great with a moderate chill. Rather dark red, but tastes and performs like a rose with body. Rose water and some funk, plenty of acid and raspberry. Great find. — 20 days ago
