Merlo 80 pct blend with Cab & Petite Verdot. Superb bold red. — 2 years ago
Unassuming. Strict, quiet, barely there aromas of gunpowder, white flowers, blanched almonds. The pale hay colors suggest this is light and easy. It’s not.
It’s 14.5% - fatty oily, type A introvert of a wine.
Slightly hot, we get yellow peach, jasmine, almond. Drink this at cellar temp and drink slow, as she charges quick. — 5 years ago

Tour d’Argent. Tawny, heavy color in the glass. The Somm smiles. I smile. The room smiles. This is killer juice that opens with a fragrant bouquet of ripe bing cherries, earthly spice, some sois bois, and some Asian spice. I’ve had this wine probably 10+ times and this is easily the best of them. Silky smooth. The nose is sexual. Killer juice. Worth the price. — 7 years ago

Beautiful dark color and personality. Smooth, medium body. Berries, apples and coffee on the nose. Very satisfying wine. — 10 years ago

Yup a new one to me and it’s well proportioned and lively on palate with well aged ripe fruits and earthy. Tasty! — 7 months ago
