Chant Du Midi

Château de Brézé

Clos du Midi Saumur Chenin Blanc 2020

Aged 50% in stainless steel and 50% in old Burgundian barrels. Pale lemon with aromas of citrus, stone fruits and herb notes. On the palate flavors of green apple, pear and lime citrus with notes of pepper and herb spice. Medium+ finish, chalky, vivid acidity and ends with mineral spice. Nice! — 7 months ago

Le Chant des Griolles Muscat de Beaumes-de-Venise 2019

Muscat not my favorite varietal but here it really shines: tension, focused, with that wide, flowery & confectionery nose, on palate mango, lemon curd, & a gorgeous sweetness. .375 ml bottle. — 10 months ago

Peter Michael Sauvignon Blanc L'Apres-Midi 2019

A blend of 90% Sauv Blanc and 10% Semillon. Pale yellow color with aromas of citrus, floral, wet stone and tropical fruit. On the palate rich fruits of mango and peach flavors with citrus zest and earthy mineral notes on a balanced structure with lively fresh acidity. Long finish, pleasant ending with pronounced mineral character. Leave this in the cellar for a few years. Nice. Tasting Sample. — 2 years ago

L'Apres-Midi Sauvignon Blanc 2016

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of two days. Best on Day 2. The 2016 pours a straw color with medium viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of grapefruit, lemon, freshly cut grass, wild flowers, honeysuckle, poblano pepper, and mushrooms. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+ and has a creamy texture. Drink now with patience, as it really needs time to open, and enjoy through 2036. — 10 months ago
