The Dead Arm McLaren Vale Shiraz 2008

An excellent full bodied Shiraz from a warm year in McLaren Vale and South Australia in general. Red and black fruits with a tarry creosote note as in previous notes. Rich and flavoursome on the full bodied palate but not heavy - very well done. The Dead Arm is the top red cuvée from d’Arenberg. Drinking at its peak. — 2 days ago

d'Arry's Original McLaren Vale Shiraz Grenache 2018

Blend of 50%/50% Grenache and Shiraz, deep Ruby with aromas of red fruits and herb spice. On the palate flavors of raspberry, plums and currants with herbs and spice. Fine tannins with firm edge, medium+ finish ending with fruit and nutty herb spice. Good now! — 6 months ago

The Footbolt McLaren Vale Shiraz 2021

Dark purple. Some menthol in the nose. Light tannins in this vintage. Concentrated spicy fruit. Nice example of an Aussie Shiraz. Would be excellent barbecue or burger wine. — 2 months ago

The Coppermine Road McLaren Vale Cabernet Sauvignon 2013

Big, juicy, the Cabernet character is there, some minty notes along with the wood. Good length just lacks structure and finesse for a classic Cabernet. — 4 years ago
