Solid Brunello - a good representation of a great wine. There is nothing wrong with this one, but it isn't quite as spectacular as others are. Nevertheless, it has all the hallmarks of a good Brunello - dark fruit, good but not overwhelming earth notes, nice tannin and complex spice notes, light but pleasant nose. Very, very cherry. Two hour decant and it really evolved. So aromatic. And real structure integrated into the mix. Tannic at first, with roast beef the tannins disappeared and it was a smooth earthy mix of red fruits and spices. Dee-lish. — 5 years ago

I first discovered New Belgium brewing Company on a trip to fort Collins in 1998. I'm happy to say that their unprecedented success hasn't screwed up their beers like some other small batch Brewers gone bad. Super dee duper small batch feel Imperial IPA with peachy taste. Best entry level IPA for sissies who normally drink garbage like Bud or Miller. — 10 years ago
