Really fine Bojo. Nose has deep, pure, ripe, zingy dark cherry fruit, plus loads of crushed granite, along with a slight note of animal fur. Round and mouthfilling, yet light on its feet, there’s an initial whack of fruit followed by a finish the turn much more stony as it extends. Pretty good acids. Just a tad more concentration would place this among the elites, but as it is it’s delicious. — 2 years ago
Fun, crunchy, juicy; not overly sophisticated but solid value at <$20 — 3 years ago
Nature Gamay of very good quality, in the spirit of Marcel Lapierre (his nephew has told me). At the same time greedy, accessible, and with a very beautiful aromatic density which unfolds especially when one gives the wine time to air out. Superb for its price.
— 4 years ago
