2010 - A lovely sweet wine from one of the best biodynamic Loire producer, the wine spent 24 months in barrels, based on Chenin Blanc, indigenous yeasts, Produced from a selection of very concentrated grapes. Depending on the vintage these may be very botritized or not. In the latter case we speek of "passerillage" - pure gold 😋👍 — 10 years ago

Shortbread cookie, honey, honeysuckle nose. Also carmely saltine crackers. Palate: beautifully fatted mid palate with lemon meringue delicate acid finish.

It is mind blowing how chenin Blanc has the potential to produce such long lasting fresh wines. Full bodied, apricot which is mouth filling and unctuous yet does not overpower you and stays fresh making you go for the next glass. Magnificent bottle from “den Eddy”. — 4 years ago
