Blinded, I honestly didn’t think much of it. It just didn’t have any defining character or complexity to stand out in the line up. Found this note off the interweb, which is relevant:
This is a relatively newly planted single vineyard that formerly was the land of the Monks of Vergy, and is situated along the path they took daily to reach the abbey of Saint-Vivant from Vosne-Romanée. It is at a higher elevation and looks down on the famous Grand Cru sites of Vosne Romanee; the soil here is clay limestone.
The wine is characterized by a dense purple color. The taste of wine is fresh, generous, with crisp acidity and a crisp nuances of oak wood. The finish is a little bluff. Aromatic bouquet of wine abounds with tones of ripe and juicy red fruit. — 2 years ago
Pop and 1 hr slow ox before tasting. On the nose: denser and more tightly wound than the 17, but still darn good: soft earth, a suggestion of coffee toast, black raspberry, soft spiced plum. On the palate: fantastic acidity, blackberry, strawberry leaf, soft, but very bright coffee notes, and finely grained tannin on the finish. This is a village wine, but it definitely seems structured to improve with some short term aging. Yum. — 5 years ago
Fruity good wine! — 7 years ago
From the Meritage Wine Market in Encinitas 110$. Interesting that the rating for this white burgh is all over the place. However this is very nice! Pears, hazelnut and ripe apples. Honey. A nice white burgh perhaps a touch too rich and big at 14%. Drink now. — 7 months ago
Yellow. Small bubbles Red fruits and flower aroma. Chalk. Acidic and sour. Fresh. Feel a stimulation in my brain. Elegant. Adrien Renoir Grand Cru Cepage Pinot Noir Extra Brut, Vergy Grand Cru @550/G(2200), domaine, 240901 — 2 years ago
I’m not sure if this is the right match since I’m drinking a nice dry white wine and Delectable shows this as a Pinot Noir. It’s definitely a Bourgogne...very fruity yet dry white French varietal. — 6 years ago

Very smooth. Delicious — 7 years ago
Serious wine, whatever that means. Nose of deep red fruits with an undercurrent of freshly cut grass and a hint of earthiness. Still a bit primary and tannic, but still just intense, focused and ethereal. Much more chambolle than NSG — 7 years ago
The sommelier described this selection as fruit forward, but I respectfully disagree. I experienced more minerals than anything else, which seems consistent with the fact that this delicate tasting wine is grown directly in the limestone bedrock, with very little soil. Hints of pepper rounded out the flavors. Excellent! Paired well with langoustines and lamb. — 9 years ago
