Showing almost full development, yet still hanging in there as the fruit is still energetic. — 2 years ago

Its the Riesling gang. Medicine cabinet. Still got the spritz. Much prefer Schueller's reds but his whites are always interesting. And fucking nice. — 9 years ago

Les Hauts -Doix Chambolle Musigny 1er Cru Pinot Noir 2021

One of the best red burgundies I’ve ever had. Glowing ruby. The nose is classic red cherry and smoke/spice from the oak. Med body, med tannin, high acid. The purest of red fruit, savoury meatiness, forest floor flavours all held together by a shroud of fine tannins and a strong spine of acid. Incredible structure. Seamless. Better in 5-10 years. — 10 months ago

Clos de la Roche Grand Cru Pinot Noir 1995

With 90 minutes of Audoze style airing this is a spectacularly balanced, complex wine that drinks brilliantly right now. It continued to get better right through dinner showing multiple layers of complexity though if it was blind I might have had a hard time identifying it as an MSD — 5 years ago

21 years old and a bargain. No depth, but still alive and kickin'. Delicious! — 9 years ago

Bulles de Bild Alsace Sparkling Blend

Very natural on the palate and the nose, this is delicious and refreshing! Fresh sea air, with hints of pear, green mango, orange rind, pineapple, passion fruit, on a pale, peach colored body. Taste of honeydew, pineapple and beautiful natural acidity, with citrus that lasts longgg into the finish. — a year ago

Pigé Alsace Pinot Blanc 2018

Young and spritzy. I have one more bottle I’ll be holding onto for a few years to see how this changes. Excellent food wine. — 4 years ago
