The Clos Pegase label features Pegasus, painted circa 1890 by the French artist Redon. Pale lemon with aromas of fresh fruit and floral scents. On the palate apple and melon flavors, creamy with pronounced oak and citrus notes. Medium finish, good balance ending with fruit and oak character. Still tasting well. Good value! We just tasted beside a Stags Leap, Pegase won, and it’s $5 cheaper!! Nice!! — 6 years ago
Great with boiled shrimp at lunch — 7 years ago
Enjoyed with a light lunch of halibut and completely wine-unfriendly vegetables (artichokes AND asparagus) and it held up nicely. Acidity made it food friendly, body and honey notes gave it enough heft to deal with sweetness/vegetal notes from murderous vegetables. — 8 years ago
Blend of Grenache (60%), Syrah (20%), Cinsault (10%) and Muscat (10%). Classic pale pink color. Aromas of red berries, tropical fruit and white flowers. Flavors of strawberries, peaches, raspberries, pineapple, orange/grapefruit zest, and savory spices. Tense mineral backbone on the long finish. Bright acidity, nicely concentrated and a lovely freshness. — 2 months ago

Dry and bold with a lingering finish. Oak, tart cherries, and a hint of something that reminds me of really good olive brine. — 6 years ago
Had this about a year ago. Aged well from a year ago. Good value! — 6 years ago
Made in Bordeaux but played like a Burgundy. Ripe fruit, rich texture, fine barrel integration, holding its pants even at a temperature around 10-12c.. considerable length - over 20 seconds. Price as jumped since last vintage, so did the quality. This wine can bluff a Burgundy amateur in blind tasting that's for sure; it does feel like a wine from Puligny. — 9 years ago
Same brand as red on NYE. NY Day at straw hat. Nice smooth dry white. M Conch gyoza. And simple grilled tuna. J. Salad and simple grilled chicken — 8 months ago

Still catching up from two weeks ago. Well wasn’t this quite the joy! Slightly shy upon opening, with more red fruit on the palate. Developed considerably in the glass and bottle, filling out with black fruit and a tight, beautiful tannin core. Seems in a great place right now but with years ahead of it. — 10 days ago
