They say 6 of every 10 Michelin star restaurants in Spain carry wine by this producer. Can’t really confirm that, but I can tell you: it doesn’t just sit in your glass; it transports you. This isn’t a wine for sipping in sterile silence. It’s for spilling on a sun-drenched table, between bites of pulpo a la gallega and the laughter of people who know how to live. It’s Galicia in liquid form—wild, rugged, and unapologetically itself.
There’s a sharp, bracing acidity that wakes you up like a cold Atlantic plunge. Then come the flavors: lemon zest, green apple, and maybe a hint of peach that’s just ripe enough to make you pause. Underneath it all, there’s that minerality—like licking a rock (the good kind). It’s clean, it’s crisp, and it doesn’t overstay its welcome.

This could be a 10 in a 2-3 years from now. Tasted this in the barrel at the winery and now in the bottle. Classic Muschelkalk and E&M. My 13th vintage. Unbelievably drinkable - addictive. Unspitable. Dark cherries, black currant jam, hint orange blossoms. In the glass potpourri of herbs wild black forest oregano driven, morello and dark cherries, crushed marble, hint licorice. Like most E&M wines a unicorn wine and unlike any you have ever tasted. I feel sorry for the Michelin Restaurants who do not have this on their wine list. — 3 years ago

Big ripe fruit, vanilla, snappy acid. Lovely mid weight Chardonnay, young for sure but I can dig it. — 5 years ago
Beautiful and light on its feet. Dry - very well made! Fantastic fruit. Very fresh. Honey. Meyer lemon, mandarine, just a faint touch of 1,1,6-trimethyl-1,2-dihydronaphthalene (TDN) aka Diesel. Touch bitter on the back palate. As a chemist i just had to bring this up. At 24 suns in Oceanside. 2 Michelin Chefs cooking. Grab this bargain before it is gone!!!!!! — a year ago
Fantastic dinner at Michelin recognized, chef run restaurant, we were only guests. Drank this local. — 2 years ago
20240506 Rest. Amarea Ristorante Romolo Mare, Bordighera with Wakano.
Michelin 2019, 20, 21 but not terribly good. One time enough.
Rose was fruity and tasty but not sweet. Good wine for EUR 28.00 — 2 years ago
Stunning color for a wine with this maturity. Smoke, cherry, saddle leather, with no rough edges. Silk, weightless texture, long mouth-watering finish. Wine was best part of a disappointing three Michelin star 14 course prix fix tasting menu in San Sebastián. — 3 years ago

2014 vintage. Seems more refined than the 2013 vintage, but I drank this during a brunch with great company in the best Lebanese restaurant in Paris (Qasti by Michelin-starred chef Alan Geeam who opened this highly recommended Lebanese bistro last year, aiming to revisit his native cuisine), so don't take my word for it! In any case it's a highly enjoyable wine. — 5 years ago
Apple, lemon lime zest, spring flowers. Grippy, acidic finish. Don’t let it get too warm. Lovely Mâconnais white — 5 years ago
