Château de Brézé

Clos du Midi Saumur Chenin Blanc 2020

Aged 50% in stainless steel and 50% in old Burgundian barrels. Pale lemon with aromas of citrus, stone fruits and herb notes. On the palate flavors of green apple, pear and lime citrus with notes of pepper and herb spice. Medium+ finish, chalky, vivid acidity and ends with mineral spice. Nice! — a month ago

Grille Midi Fleurie Gamay 2019

Floral and dark plum/berry aromas and flavors, solid structure, very good balancing acidity, long, lingering finish, needs more cellaring, Jean-Paul does it again!! — 4 months ago

L'Apres-Midi Knights Valley Sauvignon Blanc 2022

Solid SB. More round with the oak influence that took away the brightness I would look for in a SB. I guess I’m not really into BDX white blends. — 7 months ago

Nose: some funk. Blows off. White flowers.

Palate: sweet fruit. Mineral. Good. Well made. Not too wooly.

L'Apres-Midi Sauvignon Blanc 2016

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of two days. Best on Day 2. The 2016 pours a straw color with medium viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of grapefruit, lemon, freshly cut grass, wild flowers, honeysuckle, poblano pepper, and mushrooms. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+ and has a creamy texture. Drink now with patience, as it really needs time to open, and enjoy through 2036. — 4 months ago

Neyrou Pinot Noir

Beautiful Pinot! Deeper and more concentrated bramble fruit with the defining volcanic spice and mineral finish. Great value too! — 6 months ago
