I love this Montalcino ($63 Davidson’s) and the general cherry-herbal-menthol flavor profile of Montalcinos. I’ve had this one before, and enjoyed just as much. The highest Delectable rated of my recent Montalcino purchases, interestingly. — 6 months ago

2021 vintage. A bit of everything. Esteemed producer. Excellent nose. Front-palate richness. Mid-palate power and presence. Pleasantly astringent and beyond substantial finish. I usually eschew Barbera d'Alba for the resto list but couldn't deny this one. Picked up two cases and may pick up more to have laying around for 1.5-2 years. At the ridiculous resto price of $26.67, I can't afford not to. So delicious. 01.29.25. — 9 days ago
