I really enjoyed this wine, unfortunately I paid more than $10 because I bought it at a restaurant. Columbia Valley wines are def in my wheelhouse of taste and enjoyment for vino! 2019 — 3 years ago
surprise surprise - hit or miss with this NC winery, but this is fantastic! Left Bank style, classy oak integration, gobs of red & black fruit, prominent spice and secondary layers, great extraction & tannic grip. just really solid & enjoyable all the way round. bump for QPR — 4 months ago
At Kroger. Amazing cheap wine. Easy to drink — 9 months ago
Notes of oak, plum and cherry. Would be perfect with white meat (pork chops, chicken etc.) chocolate or plain cheesecake to balance out the strong fruit qualities. Not something I'd sip on by itself. — 5 years ago

Ripe in flavor, with a vivid array of black currant, blackberry, violet, black tea and black pepper aromas and flavors that zoom through to a long, expressive finish. Shows subtlety in the layers of complex flavor against a refined structure. Tannins are present but nicely contained. #1 Wine of 2009, Wine of the Year* — 2 months ago
