Lots of cherry in the fragrance and it comes through on the palate with a bit of leather. Tannins not as intense as I was expecting perhaps because it is 3+ years old. Delightful. May 2021. — 5 years ago

Delectable- this is the La Maison Cuvée, not listed in your database. One of the most highly awarded Pinot Noirs in recent years and, not surprisingly, hard to obtain. Now Sold Out. Won the Jimmy Watson Trophy for best 1 year old Dry Red at the Royal Melbourne Wine Show in 2023. Also the Trophy for Best Pinot Noir at both Royal Melbourne and Royal Adelaide. Also Tyson Stelzer’s Pinot Noir of the Year. (“The most sublime Australian Pinot I have ever tasted “). Youthful aromatics of red berries and confectionery notes. Aromas that remind me of Carbonic Maceration. Barb thought it was very light and wondered what the fuss was all about, but it is very latent, promising much A lovely red fruited sweetness (cherry). Light bodied with profound intensity. Much yet to give, which I am sure it will. An excellent Pinot Noir which will only get better with time in the cellar. Campbell Mattinson’s drinking window was 2026 - 2034+ so drinking now was infanticide but I couldn’t wait! The next will be a few years away. — 2 years ago

One of my go-to California Chards. All the hallmarks I like. Oak notes of vanilla, butterscotch, and brioche toast, but balanced by high acid and minerality. The best of both worlds. — a month ago
