"The Devil's horne" is the name of this red wine, due to the high slope of this vineyard in Canneto Pavese (Italy).
Buttafuoco is a blend of 4 different grapes: Croatina, Barbera, Uva rara and Ughetta di Canneto.
Deep color, intense fragrance of prune, red peach and pomegranate.
Full-bodied, power tannins texture, long persistance.
The 15,5 % alcohol is really well balanced, I didn't believe it! (2016 was a very warm summer). — 6 years ago

Vermentino's always on my mind. From the jagged border between Tuscany and Liguria #IvanTerenzuolaGiuliani makes this glowing wines as a full-strenght demonstration of his own vitality, caution, obstinacy, imagination, respect for environment, connection with land-people-tradition... I'm so proud and glad to be a friend of Ivan 😀 http://www.terenzuola.it/ — 11 years ago

Great Abruzzo white of Pecorino grapes from Colline Pescaresi; color is pale straw; nose of lemon, pear, fennel; taste is quite zippy on the acid level, and includes salty-mineral, peach and almond, and with a medium-long, slightly bitter snd spicy finish; a characterful, food-craving bottle from Ciavolich. Lovely! — 8 months ago
